VCAL - Literacy
Intermediate
New for 2011
We wish to update you on the new resources that we have available to
enhance your school’s VCAL programs.
The existing sets;
Personal Development Skills for VCAL and Literacy Skills for VCAL will be retired at the end of Term 3, 2010.
In their place we are releasing new updated resources specifically written for each
of the VCAL levels starting with Personal Development Skills - Intermediate and Literacy -
Intermediate. These new, level-specific, student workbooks have been written to satisfy all outcomes associated
with a particular program of VCAL instruction.
Pre-printed workbooks
Literacy - Intermediate will be
available as a professionally pre-printed student workbook of approximately 140-150 pages, that you can either
purchase directly from us or through your regular booklist supplier.
You might use this new student workbook with individual students or as a class set resource for entire cohorts. You
can either purchase these directly from us or through your regular booklist supplier.
Workbooks will be approximately $30 through booksellers, (less if purchased directly from us).
Master license
As with all of our VCAL resources you might also choose to buy a master license to reproduce
these resources yourself.
Master set license will be $165. Master license discounts will be available for schools purchasing bulk copies of
the pre-printed workbooks or for schools who have an existing Literacy master license.
The resources are supported by a new program specific teaching guide made available exclusively to those schools
that are using sets of these new workbooks and/or to those who have purchased the master license.
A sample of this will be available on this website in early August.
