Due to popular demand, we are releasing for 2010 the only Industry and Enterprise/Pathways/Careers student workbook specifically written for those schools offering Unit 1-only of Industry and Enterprise as part of a Pathways/Careers program.

I&E Unit 1: Workplace Participation will be available both as a text workbook version for individual students or as an e-version on CD, containing fully reproducible and interactive PDF files licensed for your entire school program.  

Overview 

This new Industry and Enterprise/ Pathways/Careers student workbook is specifically written for those schools offering Unit 1-only of Industry and Enterprise as part of a Pathways/Careers program.

This new resource focuses only on Industry and Enterprise Unit 1, Workplace participation. You and your students will be able to use 100% of this book. You will no longer have to compromise on a book that’s also written for Unit 2.  

This new resource includes an expanded portfolio of careers/pathways topics, activities, tools and pro-formas to assist students to contact employers, find work, prepare résumés, write job applications, prepare for job interviews and more. These pathways portfolio tools complement the expanded nature of the types of pathways programs that many schools are offering as part of Industry and Enterprise Unit 1.  

This new resource is written in a student-focused register that takes into account that students are most likely to be in Year 10 when they study this unit. We have also written the text material keeping in mind that students are also likely to be actively exploring VCE and senior course selection options as part of this unit.

We are trying to be as flexible as possible by making this resource available in different formats that might best suit your teaching program.

- e-versions: School site-license 

You can acquire a master licenseon CD with PDF files of the interactive electronic version  of the resource. This version includes answer fields that students can fill-in, save and/or print. The CD also includes PDF files of the standard hard-copy print version.  

After acquiring the master licenseyou are then permitted to reproduce the material   for use by your school, resource centre and students. 

The reproduction license is available for a once-only charge of $440 plus postage. This license is only available directly from us  and not through booksellers. 

Schools that are booklisting the standard print version of the text resource will be able to acquire the master license (*subject to minimum quantities) for 66-85% of the standard price. 

If, after acquiring the master license, you want to distribute an electronic version to each student, we can also produce CDs for you. As these CDs will be made to order, they are only available directly from us, and only after acquiring the master license. 

We are also open to the possibility of delivering Industry and Enterprise Unit 1: Workplace Participation  via other formats that might suit your school program such as CD-Only versions for each student, or both printed and CD versions for students or perhaps even USB flash drive versions or some other means.
